Perfect for Eee PC 1000
»
I've got a couple Eee PC's now, and while the sleeves that ship with them are decent, they can be severely lacking when you tack on the added accessories.
While the Eee's were meant to be fairly self-contained, sometimes you need a few extras to accompany them when you travel.
Here's a list of the stuff I managed to neatly tuck into this case:
My Eee PC 1000,
The power cord,
A slimline DVD drive,
An external 2.5" portable HD,
A USB Numeric keypad,
A cordless USB Mouse,
A Cradlepoint PHS 300 (Awesome product BTW),
Wireless USB connect 881 (For internet everywhere),
Backup CD's and DVD's,
and a couple extra USB doo-dads.
I could easily make room for a few more small peripherals (MP3 player, camera, etc...) if I had to.
I also really like this case because it's built well, it's nicely padded, and it doesn't spill everything out when it's unzipped for access. It's as good as you can get for being small on the outside, but large and roomy on the inside.

Not a conforming case
»
This case is good quality, but you should be aware that it is designed to free stand upright on its base, such as on the floor. The pockets zipper open from the top but do not fold down flat. This means that you must always extract your notebook from the bag and use it unprotected on your lap or a tabletop. Without the case surrounding the computer, there is no padding or that little extra width to help you balance it on your lap. You must of course also have enough free floor or seat space to set down the case, and then to store it while using your computer, which will be a real challenge in an airline seat.
The case is very thick (about 5 1/2 inches) and semi-rigid, so it's somewhat difficult to manipulate or access the compartments when in any position other than floor-standing. It will of course hold lots of extra gear - it's like a small suitcase - but this may defeat the purpose of having a mini notebook in the first place.
I'm considering trading this for a soft memory foam case with front pocket instead.

Acer one Laptop Case
»
Very well made case to carry your Acer one around in. I recently traveled overseas carrying a 9 cell battery attached to my Acer one, plus the charger, external mouse and a 6-cell battery, plus my digital camera, passport, and a few other items and it was just the perfect size. The yellow interior makes it very easy to see what is inside. It is my understanding that this is a discontinued item by Case Logic - so grab it before it is too late. A 110% no regrets purchase.

Absolutely PERFECT!

Fantastic!!! I bought this case for my new MSI Wind w/6 cell battery. Because I want to carry more items other than the MSI, this is the ticket.
It's roomy enough to hold my:
1. MSI netbook
2. The included power cord and "brick"
2. My OCZ USB corded mouse
3. Bose full size headphones
5. Up to 5 CDs (case has 5 soft slotted CD pockets)
6. My Dell PDA (case has a same size protected mesh pocket)
7. there's still room to spare!
When I travel, I don't want several gadgets scattered around to collect and bring into the hotel room. This case holds everything for me in one small efficient package. Now I'll never need to open and search through other luggage or run back out to the car. Everything is unified.
You get the picture. This case is tough, it has ample pockets, is padded well, and it includes a balanced handle plus a detachable shoulder strap. Best of all, it's small and light-weight.
Cheers!
Jeff
