Works, but not so easily

The funny thing about this product is that it comes in the plastic package it's designed to open. I opened that package with a knife and then tried to use the Safe Cut tool to open another package that had arrived at the same time that was also in clamshell packaging. The starter blade did not make much of a start. It was too fine of a cut to insert the Safe Cut tool. I used my scissor once again to make a larger cut. Once I inserted my Safe Cut, I worked it around the package. It did work. It was just cumbersome and I think it's easier to just use a box cutter or scissor.
The product is good for those who need safety; but then again, the starter blade doesn't lock, and kids could still get hurt with it.
