I used the TosLink to Mini TosLink Cable Digital Optical Audio TosLink to Mini TosLink Cable, 12 FT along with an additional 25-foot toslink cable RiteAV - Digital Optical Toslink Cable 25ft.and optical extension couplerOptical Extension Coupler to connect my iMac to my home theater. I bought all the cables and connector for practically nothing compared to retail on Amazon. It sounds fantastic--huge improvement over wireless (bluetooth) or RCA connections. Don't waste money on expensive cables. The cheap ones carry the digital signal just as well.

Great cable for a great price, put this cable through the wall for a Home Theater installation and the sound is great.

« It just... Works! »

Not really a lot to review, it is just a cable and it works as it should.
It is currently connected from my optical audio card from my desktop PC to my home entertainment system and it delivers a great quality 5.1 audio from my movies. Considering the price and of course the length of this cable is a great deal.

This cable is a great bargain, transmitting digital signals from my Audio Advantage Micro USB Sound Card to my receiver. Now all my high-bitrate mp3s sound great on my Polk RTI A5 speakers.

I compared the sound from this cable with a thicker 3ft optical cable and they're identical to my ears. The reason is simple - as long as digital signals are within noise margins the bitstream is transmitted properly.
