Quakehold
»
I bought this gel to hold figurines on shelves, when rambuncious children run by and bump the wall. It's working well.

OK for it's use
»
Not exactly what I was looking for, but seems to work OK for it's purpose.

not worth the mess
»
i used this to help keep things in place with small children. Needless to say I used 1/4 of the jar on an item to keep it from moving and my 2 year old can slide it all over the place which makes a gooy sticky mess all over the surface that it's been slid over. 2 face scotch tape works better with a lot less mess.

Quakehold! Museum Wax
»
This stuff really works! It adheres your precious items securely to their base, making it nearly impossible to knock them over. I've used this with a couple of expensive vases and even when a child threw a big ball at one of them, it did not move. It is not hard to remove the wax to relocate your item when you're ready to do so, and any wax residue comes off easily without damaging the surface you had it on. I would highly recommend this product. In fact, I've bought three jars of it as gifts which were very much appreciated.

Holds ceramics firmly in place
»
We used Museum Wax to secure some mid-century ceramics to a marble credenza. It was easy to apply, holds firmly, releases when you want it to, and cleans up easily.
